Hong Sin and Cindy Save the Date from Roger Soh on Vimeo.

On 4 August 2008, Monday morning when I wake up, the sky was overcast.  It ready get me worry as I will be doing the Save the Date video for Hong Sin and Cindy in the afternoon.

It will be done in an outdoor location at Hort Park and the theme of the shoot is fun in the garden park.

Lucky the weather turn out to be good in the afternoon.  We have an enjoyable time shooting the Save the Date video for our September wedding couple, Hong Sin and Cindy.  I am also glad that I have rope in my mentor, Derek from Treasure Productions, to help me in directing the shoot.

Many good wedding solemnisation video is spoilt by poor audio quality of the marriage vow. It is very important for the videographer to hear the quality of the audio feed for the marriage vow in realtime.

In ReelMotionHD production, we have an separate recorder to record the vow from the mixer of the venues plus a wireless transmitter to the videocamera. Our videographer can have direct feedback of the quality of the audio feed. If wedding couple budget permit we can even have another person at the mixer console to monitor the audio quality of the marriage vow at the recorder and make necessary adjust on the spot.

If quality recording on the actual wedding solemnisation is not possible, another way is to do a separate recording after the wedding in a studio.

Good sound quality is a key for fantastic wedding solemnisation video.
