On 4 August 2008, Monday morning when I wake up, the sky was overcast.  It ready get me worry as I will be doing the Save the Date video for Hong Sin and Cindy in the afternoon.

It will be done in an outdoor location at Hort Park and the theme of the shoot is fun in the garden park.

Lucky the weather turn out to be good in the afternoon.  We have an enjoyable time shooting the Save the Date video for our September wedding couple, Hong Sin and Cindy.  I am also glad that I have rope in my mentor, Derek from Treasure Productions, to help me in directing the shoot.

DIY Bridesmaid accessories

June 26th, 2008

It is very touching when the bride put in special effort to make some DIY accessories for her bridemaids. Small thing like bracelet for your bridesmaid, is a good way to show your appreciation to them.

It is not too difficult and complicated to make as you can see in Sri and Roy wedding blog. http://spjulio.wordpress.com/

Good lapel mic placement

June 20th, 2008

Clip-on lapel mics are generally used for speaking.

The “rule of thumb” for placement of a lapel mic is the distance from mic to month equal to the spread your and with the thumb and little finger extended as far as possible.

At this placement the poping sound will be reduced.

Wedding couple regret for not having a videographer

May 9th, 2008

A wedding couple discuss of their regret of not engaging a wedding videographer for their wedding. They talk about missed opportunity to capture the excitement and memories of their wedding.

Their picture came out great, but they did not have anything to relive the moment with. They feel short of missing their first dance. The pictures is great but it is not the same as the video where they can get to see it in full motion and sound.
